I'm born and raised in Japan where Flower Arrangement is one of the biggest culture, known as IKEBANA. It is considered as an Artwork. For those of you who are not familiar with, follow my Instagram @studioblushfloral I post pictures of them regularly. It is easier to see it than describing in words.
Even better to see it in person as it is three-dimensional sculpture. I display my work at exhibition occasionally. Info will be posted here on my website and social media!
Back to my story, There are two things I've always infatuated with ..."Beauty of Flowers and Trees" and "Fashion" just like every girls do.
I find it incredibly fascinating to express my style through creativity and balance of color.
I worked for high-end fashion and furniture decor industry for years, styling in details. Ever since I started dress myself, I've always known 'Balance and Details makes striking appeal'
As an artist, using that method, I've always been working with what's already beautiful that mother nature created and add a touch of my creativity to make them into my artwork.
Adding those to a simple space brings out unexpected harmony.
My background of Fashion, Decor and IKEBANA play a big roll of how I design my flower arrangements.
Perfect Balance of "Eastern Technique meets Western" is what I create.
